Service-Spirit-Advice
What's Hoco?--The Eagle Leaders and freshmen chat about Homecoming, Spirit Week dress up day themes, what to wear to the dance, what to expect at the dance, and how to buy tickets, etc.
Homecoming Door Contest--FLIGHT groups decorate their classroom doors with the homecoming theme. Winning groups receive a pizza party!
Advice--Freshmen are given the opportunity to ask questions to the upperclassmen.
Team Building--Eagle leaders use different team building activities to build relationships in the group
GPA and Classes for Next Year—A discussion about academics in high school
Clubs, college applications & resumes--Freshmen are encouraged to pick a couple activities they are passionate about in which they will thrive.
Bert’s Big Thank You—Freshmen write letters that are sent to people serving in the military over Thanksgiving
Study Skills—Eagle Leaders talk with freshmen about how to study for classes
How to Manage Stress—Eagle Leaders discuss with freshmen how to manage academic and social stress in high school
Explanation of Spirit/Theme Days—Eagle Leaders set an example by participating in spirit/theme days in order to help freshmen feel comfortable “Repping the M”
Students made fleece blankets for under privileged youth.
