Freshmen FLIGHT--

Each August Milton launches the freshmen mentor and leadership program during orientation with the incoming freshman getting to know their mentors, peers, and instructors by participating in icebreakers, around the room chats, small group discussions, a campus wide scavenger hunt and lunch on the lawn.

Our Eagle Leaders, or mentors, are upperclassmen working with small groups of freshmen to help the freshmen grow acclimated to life at MHS, learn how to succeed in high school, and learn timeless leadership principles.

Freshmen learn how to navigate the big high school world like homecoming, final exams and registration from their mentors’ advice and tips.

Through an assortment of events, discussions, team building activities, and a group chat, the students build camaraderie, make new friends, develop community and learn how to soar at Milton.

FLIGHT groups also utilize images, conversations and experiences to present timeless leadership  and life principles called Habitudes.

New Students--

The Eagle Leaders welcome new students to the Milton family during orientation, take students around to their classrooms, utilize a group chat to answer pre-first day questions.  Eagle Leaders and new students can eat lunch together in the CARE Center daily and participate in special events such as the new student breakfast, ice cream social, and midday tailgate to gear up for the first home game!

CBI--

A few lucky Eagle Leaders got to work with the CBI students at lunch by reading the lunch options, making sure they wash their hands and prepping their food.
